A Symposium on Innovation in Natural Resource and Animal Welfare Management—Agricultural Competitiveness was convened by the Australian Land Management Group on 11 June 2014 in Brisbane.

The event brought together key policy makers, landholders, representatives of the food and fibre supply chain, and specialist interest groups to discuss environmental and animal welfare management.

The Symposium sought to identify how government, industry and community can work together to support, recognise and reward superior environmental and animal welfare management.
